Performance Tracking
Golf Performance Tracking
Improvement without data is just hope. Apex Golf tracks every dimension of your game — swing mechanics, practice habits, and on-course scoring — to show you exactly what is working and what needs attention.
Why Tracking Matters
Most golfers judge their improvement by feel — a good week at the range, a low score in a friendly round. But feel is unreliable. Faults you thought you had corrected can return under pressure. Handicap fluctuations can mask underlying technique problems that are quietly worsening. Real progress requires real data.
Apex gives you a persistent Golf DNA that builds with every session. Over time, you can see whether a fault frequency is declining, whether your impact position is improving, and whether your practice time is translating into scoring improvement on course — not just better-feeling range sessions.
What Apex Tracks
Swing DNA History
Every uploaded swing is stored with its checkpoint scores, fault identification, and AI diagnosis. You can compare any two swings side by side to see concrete technical change.
Fault Frequency Trend
Track whether your primary fault is appearing less often over time. Our fault trend chart shows week-by-week recurrence rates across all your uploads.
Handicap Trajectory
Connect your handicap index and Apex plots your trajectory against your practice volume — helping you identify whether course management or technique is limiting your scoring.
Practice Consistency
See how many sessions you completed against your plan each week. Consistent practice is the strongest predictor of improvement, and the dashboard makes adherence visible.
Checkpoint Scores
Each of the five swing checkpoints (address, takeaway, top, impact, finish) gets an individual score per upload. Track which positions are improving and which need continued focus.
Your Progress Dashboard
Your Apex dashboard gives you a single view of your entire golf journey. See your current Golf DNA summary, latest checkpoint scores, active practice plan, upcoming round strategy, and handicap trend — all updated automatically as you upload swings and log sessions.
For golfers working with a coach, the dashboard is visible to your instructor in Coach Studio. Your coach can see your between-lesson activity, identify when a fault has returned, and adjust your next session before you arrive.
Frequently Asked Questions
- How many swing uploads do I need before trends become meaningful?
- Three to five uploads over two to four weeks gives you a reliable baseline. After that, fault trends and checkpoint scores start to reveal statistically meaningful patterns.
- Can I export my performance data?
- Yes. Export your full Golf DNA history as a CSV or PDF from your dashboard. This is useful for sharing with a coach, sports psychologist, or physio.
- Does Apex track my scores from actual rounds?
- You can manually log round scores and connect your handicap index for trajectory tracking. Automatic score import from connected apps is on our product roadmap.
